It was 1879, nearly 130 years ago, when Rudolf Darbo laid the foundations for his "fruit steamery" in Gorizia (now in Italy by the Slovenian border), he created what is now one of the most successful companies in Austria's history. In 1970, the family company now under Klaus Darbo went into the third generation. Every day the fruit delivered is selected rigorously and then checked to ensure that only the highest quality enters the production process. The baking jams are packed in 5 kg/11 lb pails for ease of use and their commitment to freshness.  Simply the best raspberry (with and without seeds), strawberry, and apricot delicious baking jams available with matching quality assorted glazes that when applied, will give your desserts a brilliant, long lasting shine.
